There are free shuttle buses from Ludlow station to the racecourse and these are great but very popular and full. We arrived by bus just before the first race. One friend joined us after the 3rd race! We walked back to Ludlow as it was a sunny day and none of our group had on high heels.

Sorry I didn't notice price of beer (although not much choice, no real ales, just Ginness, Carling and a beer can't remember). A standard glass of wine was £5 to give you a rough idea.
