Storm Watch will be in effect this week for portions of central Indiana and east central, north central, northwest, and south central Kentucky.

Two separate winter storms are threatening to bring snow and ice to much of the Midwest and East Coast this week.

Multiple winter weather-related alerts are in place across parts of New York, as well as further south in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The storm is expected to disrupt travel across major highways and interstates, making conditions treacherous for drivers.

Metorologist Chris Shaffer says the Twin Cities could see nearly three inches of snow accumulation by Saturday afternoon, according to the latest models.
