Feb 1, 2019 · I have been looking for ice fishing guides for Fort Peck but not finding much, and not getting replies from the few i have found. Looking to do a 3-day trip feb 2020. Was thinking going with a guide day 1, learning enough to fish without one day 2/3.

Feb 26, 2019 · The lake had 11-12″ of ice back in far backs of the bays, getting thinner the further out into the lake you go. Also 8-12″ of snow on the ice. This combination led to a ton of slush on the lake. For whatever reason, Friday was the worst for slush, most of the snow got flooded and then froze Saturday-Sunday.

May 3, 2024 · I don't think tourney fishing with Livescope will have any effect on the population. Might make it faster to get your five each day eater fishing, most folks catch a limit pretty easily and very few walleye over 24 inches are kept based on being at the cleaning stations .

Day two of ice fishing Fort Peck Montana jigging for lake trout. Today we started out a little slower, but had some steady action throughout the day including a solid 13.5# lake trout as well as multiple other nice fish.
