May 24, 2017 · In the modern East Asian political climate, in which ethnic groups are "supposed" to have traditional clothing to distinguish themselves from other ethnic groups - Koreans with hanbok, Japanese with kimono, etc. - the Han ethnic response to the lack of a distinguishing ethnic costume is completely expected.
