Also, the redtop and blacktop 16v 4AGEs were not available in the AE86.. and in some markets available in the MR2. So, across the board, a 4AGE in an 87+ mr2 will be superior to any engine available in the AE86.

Both cars can be tuned and tricked out for a specific use, where the AW11 can be harder to handle but has more potential when driven by an experienced driver.

Dec 21, 2016 · Trying to source out a manual rack and have a RHD corolla. From what I have found it is a lot cheaper trying to source an AW11 rack vs an AE86 rack. I know in the US the LHD rack from the AW11 will fit in the 86, anybody know if that's the same for the RHD? Thanks
