Jan 21, 2020 · I'm attempting to enable USB2 on my head unit. I have it out of the car and I connected a second cable to USB2. The cable has power because it powers on my USB drive, however I can't get the connection to show in the iDrive display. I've searched everywhere in the forum for a solution and can't find one. I'm using Bimmercode in expert mode.

Jan 31, 2017 · Noticed that in the NBT Evo only the USB1 connection at the back of the unit is enabled and hardwired via cable to what seems like a a hub for the two USB ports in the car. USB2 is not enabled and no cable connected to the jack.
