Apr 25, 2023 · I have a project I want to do for my live stream which would involve making a massive LED matrix on my wall. I'm thinking it will probably be something like 50x60 LEDs. I found a few basic guides such as This one that recommend using ws2811 LEDs.

Basically this is just a 24x8 matrix with a cool, interlocking foamboard grid that makes it possible to have a really big display. This display is 3 feet long, and just over a foot high! Thats half the size of a large, flatscreen TV!

Aug 31, 2010 · I'm trying to figure out if an Arduino could drive a large LED matrix... the matrix will be around 120x90, which means about 10800 LEDs. I'm almost sure the regular Arduinos don't have enough pins for that, but what about the Mega? would it be possible to hook up that large a matrix into it's 54 pins?

This is an ARGB led that stands for an addressable light emitting diode which means the colors can be addressed individually that enables the user to generate over 16miilion color combinations. Yeah! You are hearing this right and i wanted to take the regular/tiny argb led diode to a whole new level so i came up with this idea.
