Codac R9000 Deluxe is a high resolution photo camera model created before the Great War. It's used as a quest-related tool in Fallout: New Vegas, coded as an in-game weapon. A more refined twin lens reflex camera manufactured by Codac, using a conventional camera film.

Codac R9000 - A working version of the Codac R9000 appears in Fallout: New Vegas. It is given to the Courier by Michael Angelo to complete the quest Classic Inspiration. Despite using "ammunition," this camera deals no damage and is purely for taking photos.

For the camera, see Codac R9000. Codac was a pre-War manufacturer of cameras. The company's name appears on the Necropolis town map background in the original Fallout, and their actual products appear in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. The company's name is a reference to the real-life camera company Kodak.

And you are right, this is the Codac R9000 that is in the Fallout New Vegas. For some reason in the game it use a laser rifle reticle, I tried to correct this misunderstanding.
