After you've killed an Elf for the diary, the bow is only useful for Master clues and Sire. Shield is just around an incredible item because of it's fantastic range defence - excellent for ranger waves at fight caves if using a crossbow, incredible at DKs and very useful for some GWD bosses.

Nov 25, 2021 · Crystal bow got a big buff during the ranged meta updates and the armor effect would make it solid even if bofa didn’t exist. That said I would stick to CG and just use the crystal bow as a replacement for your previous ranged weapons until you get it.

Dec 20, 2022 · Frostner and silver sword are better options. Imo, the damage to stamina ratio on the crystal GA is far too low to make it worth using. It's super cool looking, but needs a buff to compete with the other options. I would try it though to see for yourself, but keep in mind it's pretty resource heavy.

I have been doing cox with my friend, and I am wondering how full crystal armour with a crystal bow fares against olm/ muttadiles / shamans / mystics etc compared to using Karils top and bottom, neitiznot face guard dragon crossbow and dragon ruby bolts (e).

Thanks I since found the RC one you're talking about, but the standard crystal cheats aren't working. Most of them do nothing but the walk through walls cheat is almost functional. It gliches the surroundings and d if it's on when you try to leave a building the game crashes...
