Oct 13, 2018 · Web assistant gives: 'No DiskStation Found within LAN.' Synology Assistant gives: 'No Synology server was found on the local network.' My router lists the diskstation in the DHCP list, but trying to access that IP times out. If I try to ping the given IP it tells me: 'Destination host unreachable.' Have tried: Rebooting everything.

Dentro Synology Assistant lo rileva ma mi dice "non istallato" clicco su installa, mi dice che il DiskStation non dispone DSM installato. mi dice di indicare il percorso, ma non vedo nessun disco di quelli presenti. Sicuramente sbaglio qualcosa.

Jun 5, 2012 · When I use Synology Assistant to detect the Diskstation, it says "Not Installed" in the status - everything else seems to look ok - IP address etc. When I click install, it says DSM is not installed and that if I install DSM, all files on the hard drive will be deleted - this is something I clearly do not want to do!

Apr 12, 2016 · About 5-10 seconds after saving/closing the file, the disk station renames the file automatically to a copy of filename_Diskstation_Date(Month_Day_Time_Year)_Conflict.*file-extension that means; test.numbers will be renamed to test_Diskstation_Ap-12-1038-2016_Conflict.numbers I cannot explain why this operation of the NAS is needed.

Waited a couple hours yesterday and still did not finish. Blue light was flashing on the Diskstation. Should this be taking so long.
