Jul 14, 2021 · These are decent ballpark figures for E30 tuning, but seriously, start below these numbers. If your Cylinder 1 timing goes above 20 during WOT on your first "feeling it out tune" stop the WOT, adjust the tune, and work your way up to here. On E40 i'm floating around 20° of advance in the mid and upper range. but that's after many revisions.

She’s at 100k mileage and probably the last 70k has been on the e30 blend no sensor and no worries. Even ran it at 132mph for over 2 hours on a trip.
