Feb 19, 2018 · Ultimately, I am not trying to argue against the meta. But, I would love to play another tank besides a DK in high level content. And, while I am new to ESO for the most part, I know I am very good at what I do. I have tanked at an extremely high level in many other games.

Oct 26, 2016 · That's right, there are only 2 taunts in the game: melee taunt: Puncture, 1st skill in One Hand and Shield line (and morphs) ranged taunt: inner fire, 3rd skill in the Undaunted skill line (and morphs) Some skills can work as very short duration taunts for example DK Fiery Grip (chains), and most DoT skills, they work until the mob/boss takes damage from another player.

With such a variety of choices and paths to take in our journey through tamriel we must sit down and theorize as to what our role is in a group (Tank for this particular build) and what path is best suited for that role.

You need to find what your races strengths are and work around your weaknesses. A High Elf can make a fine DK tank, just need to spec more into magicka, health and change abilities.
