Dec 7, 2023 · VLC may be giving you incorrect METADATA. Check the file using the "Media Info" application. When I had a Samsung Galaxy S10+, Filmic Pro generated very strange 10 bit video files. Unusable because it has Rec.2084 color space parameters. VLC saw it as Rec.2020 but Media Info as Rec.2084. No video program knew how to capture this color space.

Feb 15, 2023 · I tried to search for about 2 years and couldn’t find anything super good. What I ended up doing was just getting a decent resolution star background (that isn’t super obviously tiled), applying the texture to a very big sphere, and making the UV of the sphere massive so it repeats the stars over and over.

Jan 24, 2024 · In fact, ALL photos taken with a Samsung Galaxy phones will be displayed in "Super HDR". I've tested this with images shot by the Fold4, Flip3, Note 9, and all the way back to the S7 edge. Did Samsung thought of having this feature all the way back in 2016 already or is this some sort of "AI trickery" that converts the old photos into Super HDR ...

Jun 25, 2023 · But keep in mind HDRI backgrounds can be used to light up your scene while not being visible in your render, if you check 'Transparent' under 'Film'. It works with normal, non-panoramic, non High Dynamic Range Images ; you can combine the same image you used for background, using Alpha Over in the Compositor after you rendered .
