Hi Ajlan I’m using Acrobat XI Pro. I have a word doc with an excel file embedded (i.e. double click and the file opens) I don’t want the pages of the excel file displayed unless the reader of the document chooses to open the attachment.

I closed the file, opened my PDF fillable and hit import. I get the pop up with the data, then I clicked ok. Then get the pop up below and no data populates to my file.

Oct 6, 2020 · It needs to be embedded in such a way that it is not a link to the excel file saved somewhere, but the whole file so that anyone accessing the PDF can also open and edit the excel file. This is how i currently have it set up but it doesnt work as the save location for the excel file is not open to all users.
