The J35J -Cipher- is a Special Aircraft variant of the J35J Draken in Ace Combat Infinity. It displays the same skin used by the J35J in Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War unlocked by the Soldier Ace Style.

The J35J Draken is a delta-wing aircraft. It debuted in Ace Combat 2 and was later featured in Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War and Ace Combat Infinity. In the early days of the Belkan War, Cipher operated the Draken as his starter aircraft before moving on to the F-15C Eagle.[2]

Plane skins aren't necessarily an indication of canon lore, but one of the beginning planes in Zero was the J35J so while I would say it's still up in the air (pun intended), it's probably more likely than other fan theories I've heard.

Cipher (サイファー Saifā) was a mercenary pilot employed by the Ustio Air Force's 6th Air Division. He was the flight leader of Galm Team and primarily led the squadron during the Belkan War of 1995.

May 1, 2021 · In ACZ there are three possible starter planes: F-5E, F-1, and J35J Draken. In the (now-defunct) AC Infinity, there was a special plane, J35J -Cipher-, which is described as Cipher's starter plane. It's painted with the "Soldier" livery, which is the default or starter Ace Style.
