The apostle sets forth the mission of the heavenly warrior. In righteousness he judges and makes war! When Jesus came to earth the first time, his purpose was to inaugurate a system of redemption for Adam’s fallen family.

The Lord will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies.
