Feb 8, 2024 · According to the guy in the video, the samsung guy purposely scratched the TV because a repair panel would take a couple hours to arrive and he wanted to go home. So instead of waiting or coming back another day, he just wanted to cut the cord on the customers and bolt.

Feb 8, 2024 · I would take a new one over repair any day. I’ve sent screens back with backlight bleeding or dead pixels. One time a tv was repaired, got a new motherboard, had to send it back first though. And one time a guy came by to fix a tv speaker, it was rattling. Turned out there was an extra screw inside. That was a Samsung though.

Firstly, make sure the screen is clean by using distilled water and a clean, lint free cloth or better still, a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water mixed in a 20:1 ratio. Then find a pencil with a clean, unused eraser at the end. Those soft white erasers also sometimes work. Gently rub the scratches and they should diminish.
