Jul 5, 2013 · It's 1 lb. lighter than the S&B and much shorter. Most of the competing compact scopes are all at least 1/2lb heavier than the Leupold. Most full size tactical scopes are 1lb. heavier like the S&B. So to compare the Leupold against the much bigger and heavier scopes is probably not the best idea.

The Sig and Razor are going to give your more tactical abilities, like a larger eyebox for two eye open shooting, but if you are target shooting that is not needed. The NX8 is very popular. The Leupold Mk6 is more of a vintage variety, but solid. Why not get 8x if you can?

Aug 22, 2017 · I recently (past couple weeks) reached out to Leupold about the Mk6 1-6 with 7.62 CMR-W reticle, and asked approximately when it would be back in stock. I saw that europtic listed it as discontinued. Leupold confirmed that the 1-6x Mk6 with 7.62 CMR reticle is in fact discontinued. I don’t know about the other reticles.

Feb 24, 2017 · New owner of the Kahles 1-6x here. I've owned a lot of low-powered optics, but never the 1-6x MK6 so I can't compare the two. I did own the 3-18x44mm MK6 and wasn't impressed at all. I too think the MK6 line may be a bit overpriced and underwhelming.
