I am not on a Mac and have not been on one in modern versions of Office. That said, You may be able to get the old effects using old WordArt stored as AutoText. I do not know.

Apr 28, 2022 · This happens when the current document is in Compatibility Mode as a Word 97-2003 (*.doc) file. Essentially, that turns off all features of Office 365 that didn't exist in Word 2003, and replaces the later user interface of WordArt with the old one. The user can open that document, click File > Info > Convert, and agree to the prompt.
