You need to enter the 4 digit PIN for the card that you have inserted into the card-reader. Use the same PIN that you would use for that card at a cash machine or retailer. Using an Online Banking card? The Online Banking card is designed only for use with the card-reader.

Your Online Banking PIN must be four digits long. We won't accept: numbers in an ascending or descending order, for example 1234 or 7654; the same number three or four times in a row, for example 1222 or 7777.

You can change the PIN for your debit card at any Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest, NatWest International or Isle of Man Bank cash machine. Simply insert your card and follow the on-screen instructions. Please choose your new PIN carefully and don't share it with anyone else.
