The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is eagerly awaiting the completion of Phase One at the new, state-of-the-art James A. Karnes Corrections Center located at 2551 Fisher Road. The Franklin County Board of Commissioners and the Sheriff’s Office broke ground on the facility in 2017 and anticipate receiving the first inmates in the fall of 2022.
