Mar 20, 2010 · Here's an idea. Get some old barbed wire and attach it to the post as it normally would be. cut the wire to make it look like the fence is broken and unused. Mount the post at a slight angle to also make it look unused. Then, find an old "no hunting" metal sign and mount it hanging from the post.

Nov 14, 2016 · Is there a need for aged Cedar fence posts for habitat displays? and what would be a fair price on them? I have a lot after replacing fence. These are very old with lots of character - ddep weathered grooves, weathered top, and light about 5 pounds or so for a 4 foot post cut clean at the bottom. I can send pictures. [email protected]

Feb 14, 2022 · I needed a light weight fence post for this habitat. I created it using a 2" PVC pipe with a end cap. I heated the end cap and flattened it out, drilled a few holes in the cap to secure to the plywood base. I heated different areas of the PVC pipe and twisted it and bent it into the post shape that I wanted.

Dec 1, 2019 · I prefer the ones where the pedestal is the habitat. Old fence posts with some barb wire, and sagebrush look great if that is the kind of area the deer came from. Pine deadfall, and some juniper. Just keep it in line with the terrain you shot him in. Jeremy
