Jun 17, 2023 · I'd say roblox is for a 10-12 Demographic, but considering far younger and far older people play it, I think everyone is able to find something to enjoy in it. Espeically since Roblox has been making some efforts to provide Accommodations for an older age demographic.

Met people my age in 2022 on Evade and we formed our own group. I’ve noticed most older players are stepping away from VC for 3 reasons. To avoid kids annoying them, harassing them or following them around for being older.

A few years ago Roblox may have released a blog post with age statistics but they're definitely out of date. I just turned 20 and have been playing since 2009. Definitely know a handful of other people around my age who I've met on Roblox. Been playing with some of these people for around 5 years. You aren't the only adults playing, don't worry.

The people I was having a discussion with said that Roblox was for ages 4-18, while I said the preferred age that Roblox chose. (E10+, from what I remember). With all the new SurfaceAppereance developer objects and new MaterialService they released this year, it gives a lot more "fidelity" and we could see 5-years down the line games that take full advantage of this.
