Mar 18, 2022 · Sig was going to have 357 Sig, 40SW and people were clamoring for 45acp and 10mm too. In typical Sig fashion they promised a mountain and gave us a hill. 9 years later we are still buying only large parts from Sig no small parts are available. And they have yet to produce an MPX in anything other than 9mm. You can buy the stripped upper receiver.

Aug 27, 2019 · The bolt indent orientation is only for the gen 2 MPX. The new MPX doesn’t have this indent and doesn’t require orientation during reassembly. These are the different parts of the new MPX. I took it all apart to do a part comparison with my gen 2 MPX.

With regard to the MPX Competition, its lower recoil and lower muzzle rise is generally attributed to its piston system and not so much to its muzzle device.

The standard trigger in the Competition is a Timney that SIG required to be improved by Timney over their original MPX after-market design. It’s single stage and is flat.

Nov 5, 2022 · I have had my MPX PCC for a couple of weeks now and have about 500 rounds through it. I bought this gun specifically to compete in IDPA PCC, and Steel Challenge matches. My PCC cycles FMJ round nose ammo (factory & re-loads) just fine but will not reliably feed any kind of hollow point bullet. I am not talking defensive bullets here.

Nov 11, 2020 · With the mpx I’m looking at spending 400+ on a 3 lug barrel, probably a few bucks on tuning the gas system and mags are you expensive. I probably should've bought a PTR 9KT instead, would’ve saved a few hundred initially, it already has a 3 lug barrel and no gas system changes needed.
