Jun 20, 2022 · The SNES Jr. has the best video output if it's been modified but only typical SNES composite otherwise. The regular SNES can display RGB without modification and can use HDretrovision cables to display really nice component output.

Nov 19, 2019 · The Jr is a 1chip console, and has just as good or slightly better video quality than the other 1chip SNES consoles. However, it needs a solder mod to enable svideo and RGB to take advantage of this video quality.
