Mar 18, 2021 · Hello Im working on a tenant improvement. Existing panel is a 120/208 3 phase Siemens panel. Plans are asking for a gfci double 30 amp circuit breaker for the two devices. Im working on an existing 208 2 pole line that is supplied with 2 hot legs and a ground wire.

I understand that typically bolt-on type breakers are preferred in commercial/industrial applications where vibration may be an issue whereas the plug-in type breakers are typically used for residential applications.

I do not know how to upload pics This circuit breaker is available new for under $5.00. It is best to replace any circuit breakers with the same manufacture so it will pass code.

Jan 25, 2014 · Most breakers with an Allen wrench bolt have the torque specs on them. Most of the SQ QO 200 amp stuff is 250 in lbs. We use a torque wrench all the time on larger breakers, CT cabinet lugs etc. POCO even looks at us a little funny but one split lug on a main breaker will buy you a number of torque wrenches.

Dec 18, 2019 · Traced circuit to a Siemens NLAB442C 3 phase 4 wire, 120/208 panel (Canada) designed for Type Q and BQ Siemens branch breakers and found a 15A cutler-hammer type BR115/C115, the only breaker of its kind in the panel. I locked out the breaker and will change after hours. Has anyone else ran into this sort of issue?

Nov 6, 2018 · I am doing a job right now that has a seaman's 3 phase bolt in panel. I need to use several single Pole and to pull GFCI breakers. Trying to find less expensive breakers then Siemens Or a less expensive supplier. My question is what other brand names bolt in style breakers will work in a seaman's panel and/or any advice on less expensive suppliers?

Dec 14, 2018 · Most small to medium breaker sizes they typically are 10-32 thread pattern but the length that will varies depending on what brand and yes be aware of long bolts that will get ya if not carefull with it. but larger one they go 1/4" or larger depending on frame size.

Feb 17, 2020 · Standard Siemens breakers used in loadcenters down here in the US are QP's. Standard Siemens bolt on breakers used in panelboards down here in the US are BL's. Obviously, there are a few variants to those for different AIC ratings, etc.

May 17, 2024 · Tried to install a Siemens QN2150R breaker for a branch circuit into an older Siemens I-T-E EQIII 200a load center (1ph, 3w, 120/240V) but it doesn't fit. The plastic flange (where the back of the breaker sit) is different on the older ITE panel. It is continuous on the older panel, but there...
