Tataru Taru [təˈtɑːr.uː] is a Lalafell in Final Fantasy XIV. She is the receptionist of the headquarters of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Said to be a keen judge of character, she is in charge of who can enter the Scions' base.

After Alphinaud accidentally spent most of the Scions' money, Tataru joined in the investigation of Hell's Lid, hoping to find treasures to earn back everything that was lost. She ended up involved with the Auspices, and witnessed Soroban temporarily lose control and attack them.

Tataru Taru is a female Lalafell and the clerk for the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Tataru was raised in an affluent family of merchants, but her days of luxury were short lived as her father lost the family's fortune due to a string of bad investments when Tataru was still a little child, plunging her into poverty.
