Baylands Park provides over 70 acres of developed parkland offering active recreation, pathways and picnic areas for families and large groups. An additional 105 acres of seasonal wetlands is protected as a wetlands preserve, providing habitat for plants and wildlife.

Baylands Park offers biking, hiking, nature trails, and access to the San Francisco Bay Trail, which connects 300 miles of trails along the shoreline of San Francisco Bay. This park is also available for reservations and rentals.

Located on San Francisco Bay, Baylands Park offers six large picnic sites with sections that can be reserved individually, an outdoor turf amphitheater, four playgrounds, and access to the San Francisco Bay Trail.

We went to Baylands Park in Sunnyvale. This is a very goo park with with lots of space to ride bikes, hike, play, and have picnics. A unique feature of the park is the Animal Assisted Park area.

Feb 2, 2025 · Totally flat easy walk along the Bay marshlands. Beautiful views of Mission Peak and the East Bay Hills. Great bird watching while you get your run in. It gets really hot here. Definitely carry water bottles, sunglasses and a cap! Some sections are closed and some sections are unpaved road.
