Diego Andrés González Boneta[1] (born 29 November 1990) [2] is a Mexican actor, producer and singer. He gained wider recognition after starring in Rock of Ages (2012) alongside Tom Cruise and in the Netflix biographical series Luis Miguel: The Series (2018).

In 2020, he will star as "El Gato Negro," the eponymous hero based on Richard Dominguez's Latino comic book series. Diego's breakthrough role came about in 2012 when he was cast opposite Tom Cruise and Julianne Hough in New Line's jukebox musical "Rock of Ages."
