Free parking and various hiking trails on both sides of the river and falls. Beautiful scenery. No swimming, but great photo ops. The bridge at GF mountain is certainly a unique experience and there are a lot more hiking trails there, but if you want a nice 1-2 hour experience Linville Falls is definitely worthy.
