The Sea to Shining Sea trail is a semi-urban, walking trail that connects two existing trails: Seaside Trail and Pilgrim Trail via sidewalks along the waterfront. Users will experience a host of features include ocean vistas, trails along Town Brook and a wide view of Billington Sea.

The 84-mile Norfolk Coast Path runs from Hunstanton to Hopton-on-Sea. Much of this walking trail runs through the dramatic landscape of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. IMAGINE WALKING ON AN UNBROKEN COASTAL PATH all around England’s coast. The England Coast Path is a new National Trail officially opened in 2020. Although many sections are open and well-used, others are still at various stages. But the aim is to complete it in 2021.

In 2019 I decided to walk the length of the Thames Path, gradually over several stages. I completed the path (both north and south banks) on 1 August 2021. This website takes you along that path, interspersing photographs with text and other references.
